Troubleshooting
Index out of Date This error is usually caused by a power failure or an abnormal termination of the software. Record the name of the corrupted file, close the program and rebuild the file using the Table Utility program. If the file name is not available, you should rebuild all tables in the shared or local data folder. The shared and local data folders are specified in the status bar at the bottom of the program's main screen. Typically, if the error is occuring on only one workstation, the corrupt file is located in the local data folder. Socket Error when sending an email Check to see if your internet is working. If it is, trying sending an email using outlook (or your mail program). If you can send an email through your mail program, confirm your smtp email settings by selecting System...Web Parameters. If it works intermittently, it may just be an problem with your email service provider and should be resolved shortly. |
